FAQs about back-ordered parts
Over time, certain parts and models fall out of favor, and parts are no longer as easily as accessible as they once were.
What is a back order? - An order placed by you to us, that we cannot fill because we don't have it in stock. Bottom line is that your order will take upwards of about two weeks if you need a part that's out of stock. Currently, there is no way to expedite the process that we must abide by (we wish there was.)
There is nothing I can do to speed this up? - Sadly, no. Once you have OK'd the back order notice generated by us, we will immediately place the order for the part and the back order process begins.
Is there an exact date? Once again, regrettably no there isn't. We can, however, give you an almost accurate lead time.

After a brief hiatus to focus on this year’s Oceana Ball (more to come on that in the future), we’re attempting to return to our normal routine and schedule. Having spent an inordinate amount of time the past several months concentrating on all things themed “Oceana,” including pieces of driftwood that washed up onto the shores of some of our native beaches, taking a look at reclaimed wood seemed a logical fit.
Salvaging wood for reuse helps to minimize waste sent to landfill and the thinning out of our forests, responsibly done or otherwise. Using reclaimed wood also introduces a sense of character to a space which simply cannot be achieved through the use of new materials. From hardwood and softwood flooring to barn board and timbers, there are many sources from which to choose.
Reclaimed woods are typically wider planks (4″ or more) and offer a rich patina and depth that can only be authentically created with time. Don't let a break-in ruin your summer vacation
By far, the most common threat to our home while we are away on summer holidays is burglary. Burglary, by definition, is a non-confrontational crime but being victimized can leave a family feeling vulnerable and violated.
According to Patrice De Luca, V.P. of Marketing and Business Development for Reliance Protectron Security Services, the first step in burglary prevention is gaining an understanding of who commits these crimes and why.
"The majority of home and apartment burglaries occur during the daytime when most people are away on holidays, at work or at school," De Luca explained. "Burglaries also occur at night when there are obvious signs that residents are away."
Most home burglars are young males looking for things that are small, expensive, and can easily be converted to cash. Items like cash, jewelry, guns, watches, laptop computers, and other small electronic devices are high on the list. Quick cash is needed for living expenses and drugs. Although home burglaries may seem random in occurrence, they actually involve a careful selection process.
"This selection process is simple," De Luca added. "They choose an unoccupied home with the easiest access, the greatest amount of cover, and with the best escape routes."

- The first step, according to De Luca, is to "harden the target" or make your home more difficult to enter. - When vacationing, leave a car in your driveway or arrange for a neighbor to keep a car there and move it around from time to time. Have someone mow your lawn, rake leaves and pick up your mail while you're away.
